You can connect to the Wireless Drive Wi-Fi network on your mobile device, PC, or Mac without downloading the Wireless Flash Drive app, by using a web browser. There are two methods of connecting without using an app.

NOTE: You must connect to the Wi-Fi network without Internet connection.
3. Open an Internet browser.
4. Go to www.sandisk.com/wfd/ to connect to the wireless drive.
METHOD 2 - Connecting with Internet connection

I have just bought a 128GB Cruzer Glide. The plan was to connect it directly to my router to use for backups and as a shared drive. 1. Configure the WFD to connect to your home network
2. Disconnect from the WFD SSID and reconnect to your home network
3. Launch the Wireless Flash Drive app and select the WFD

4. Click the gear to open settings

5. Scroll to the bottom and select about

6. Select the Wireless Flash Drive under Drives

7. Take note of the IP address listed at the top of the about page

8. On your desktop or laptop computer open your web browser and in the address field type the WFD IP address and press enter to access the WFD

Offline and Not Connected

If your ibi is not connected to any network

  1. In the ibi mobile app tap the menu icon in the upper left corner
  2. Select 'Settings' (Gear icon)
  3. Under CURRENT STORAGE select your ibi
  4. Make sure you are near your ibi and tap continue in the Switch Networks pop up message
  5. Tap Change Wi-Fi at the bottom
  6. Connect your ibi to the desired network

If your ibi is connected to a network

  1. In the ibi mobile app tap the menu icon in the upper left corner
  2. Select 'Settings' (Gear icon)
  3. Under CURRENT STORAGE select your ibi
  4. Tap 'Network' (you will see the network name the ibi is currently connected to)
  5. Tap 'Network' again
  6. Make sure you are near your ibi and tap 'Continue' in the Switch Networks pop up message
  7. After the app connects to your ibi tap continue
  8. Connect your ibi to the desired network
